- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was so excited when this state of the art hospital opened in 2012 the building is top class, however it is grossly understaffed.The nurses are wonderful but the waiting for medication when in pain is far to long, as two nurses try to cope with attending 26 rooms per ward. I feel we the people of Fermanagh deserve a better service than provided as a lot of treatment is now only available in Altnagelven hospital involving a lot of travel for surgery, cancer treatment and follow up appointments. The A& E is also a nightmare regarding waiting times to see a doctor. All in All a big disappointment. SWAH needs more staff at all levels to complement the fantastic building.by Rita CassidyJune 13, 2017
